Hi, I’m Neil Sterry.
I’m a British photographer based near Bath, best known for my automotive work, as featured in publications such as Fast Car, Performance VW, and Retro Car. Alongside this, my portfolio spans a range of subjects, with a strong focus on product and e-commerce, portrait, fashion, and travel photography.
Photography has been a passion of mine for over half my life. It has been a constant thread connecting my interests while opening doors to new creative and professional opportunities. From producing cohesive bodies of work for personal exhibitions to bringing clients’ visual concepts to life, I’m driven to create compelling images that connect with the viewer.
I also have a strong interest in vintage cameras and traditional photographic techniques. While much of my commercial work is produced using digital Canon EOS systems, I often use a collection of classic film cameras. Although more demanding, I find the results from film — particularly when printed using traditional darkroom processes — to be unmatched. Seeing a project through from initial idea, to shoot, to final print using a hands-on approach is something I find especially rewarding.
